WHAT HAPPENED?
De Bruyne is set to depart City this summer after nine years with the eight-time Premier League champions, and Pep Guardiola's side are looking for a replacement. Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz has been discussed as the first option for the Citizens, however, they are now leading the race for another star.

As per The Daily Mail, City have shown interest in Gibbs-White as a replacement for De Bruyne, and they also lead the race to sign the England international, with Liverpool and Manchester United also interested.
